• 13 Aldi stores planned or under construction
• 1 Whole Foods planned
• 1 El Super planned
• One store is planned without an identified grocery retailer

One notable mixed-use development in the area south of Phoenix is Maricopa Stonegate.

Plans call for 93 single-family homes, a multi-family component, and commercial buildings on a total of 46.3 acres.

A representative from the city of Maricopa recently stated that the multi-family portion of this project is under review.

Furthermore, a representative from Sketch Architecture Company, who is assisting on the project, stated that site improvements could begin by the end of this year.
