April 8, 2020

At BuildCentral, we continue to be inspired by our customers and their successes.

As our way of giving back, I am pleased to announce a new cost-free program at BuildCentral called the BuildCentral Customer Spotlight.

How does it work?
Share a success story and we’ll amplify your accomplishments to thousands via our websites, newsletters and social media accounts.

Expanded into a new territory? Found a creative way to bring more value to your customers?

We’d love to share your news with the world whether it involves BuildCentral or not.

To get started or to learn more, just send me a quick note.

All my best,

Matt Holmes
Director of Marketing

MARKETING TIP OF THE WEEK

Use Exploding Topics to Find Hot Blog Topics

It’s a challenge to know what content will drive traffic to your site today AND tomorrow.

Sometimes, once you’ve spent time and resources on a topic, the buzz has already died down.

Now, there is a new tool that helps you better understand what content is about to be very popular.

It’s called Exploding Topics. And for now it’s free.

They split rapidly growing topics into 3 buckets:

Regular, Exploding and Peaked which helps guide marketers on which content topics will have legs long after you hit publish.

Consider using Exploding Topics before you create your next piece of content to find relevant topics with a longer shelf life.

SALES TIP OF THE WEEK

Don’t just focus on new business

Acquiring new customers can be up to 5x more expensive than retaining existing customers.

Instead of a focus on customer acquisition alone, find additional ways to grow your existing accounts.

Most customers aren’t buying all of your products and services.

Be proactive and find ways to bundle offerings in a way that make sense for you both.
Ask yourself these questions:
  • What are the current problems my best customers are looking to solve?
  • What products or services do I offer that my clients are not already benefiting from?

Get more creative with your existing accounts and you can worry just a little bit less about finding new customers.
