MaGrann Associates Expands Through Strategic Acquisition Despite 2020 Challenges

BuildCentral Customer MaGrann Associates is proud to announce that they have acquired Home Energy Technologies of Chester, Connecticut.

MaGrann Associates is an energy consulting company headquartered in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey providing building owners and developers turnkey services for all phases of high-performance multifamily development, renovation, and asset management.

According to MaGrann company news,

“Home Energy Technologies and MaGrann share a strong foundation in building science and quality service working with developers, builders and architects serving market rate and low income housing sectors.

This move strengthens the two companies’ shared mission of making buildings more resource efficient, healthy, and affordable“

Despite some of 2020’s challenges, this acquisition positions MaGrann to more easily respond to the needs of owners and developers that need:

  • Turnkey services to project delivery

  • Ability to design and verify projects from Massachusetts to Virginia

  • Ability to enhance building and financial performance of older multifamily assets

  • More talent and resources in delivering meaningful solutions to projects

And according to a recent press release,

“MaGrann has partnered on rapid response efforts to provide safe housing needs during the COVID-19 crisis. MaGrann is a team member of the Modular Mobilization Coalition, a nationwide group of modular housing manufacturers providing a solution for the healthcare facility shortage in America today.

The coalition will produce thousands of individual standardized Supplemental Care Units (SCUs) each week to fast-track construction of much needed field hospitals across the country. After the crisis ends, these units will be modified as an innovative, long-term solution to help address the chronic shortfall in homeless, veteran and affordable housing.”
